If you have a half an hour to spare in the morning, then this is a must-try!
This porridge is not only delicious, but very filling. Millet is not well-known, and it definitely should be. Not only is it gluten-free, but its also alkalizing, and easy to digest!
“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.”
So I wanted to let you guys know why I’ve been away from my blog for a little while. I have really been taking the time to seek God and grow more in my relationship with Him. I have found that even through the toughest of storms, I am content and truly happy. It’s so easy for us to get caught up in ourselves and that’t not the way it should be. Instead of being selfish, it’s better and more rewarding to be selfless. In the bible, Jesus says “Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.” You see, Jesus had the opportunity to have anything and everything a person could “want” in life. The devil tempted him with the world. But Jesus served others. Jesus led a life of giving and loving. When I hear people say “What Would Jesus Do?” I think to myself, serve. So I’ve been taking more and more time out of my day where I would be doing something selfish and doing something selfless instead.
God has been blessing me above and beyond what I could ask or think! The opportunities I have been given have been so incredible that I can’t even help but tear with happiness. God has been giving me favor in my finances, and favor in restoration of many relationships. God has also given me comfort in learning the lesson of patience. I know that God’s plan is better than anything that I could do on my own. I know that my best days are ahead of me! So now I want to ask you, what are you waiting for?! I’m not asking you to give up your life. But why not serve others today? I dare you to do one selfless act of kindness today!
I love each and every one of you who reads this blog.
May the Lord bless you!
It’s so easy for us to get caught up with what is wrong in our lives. Maybe something isn’t going as planned or turned out the way you were hoping so you let yourself dwell on it. We tend to focus on the negative and throw ourselves little pity parties. There is always going to be someone who makes us angry or upset. There will be choices that we make, and we will have to pay the consequences. These things are inevitable. But the best thing we can do is put the pieces back together, and move forward.

Yes, we need to acknowledge what isn’t working but don’t let it take up all of your time. We can’t let ourselves dwell on negativity. We need to shift our focus. What are we going to do about it?
So I’m just going to say it, I hate going to the gym. I don’t like the atmosphere and I don’t like “working out.” I do love being active though. I try to incorporate being active throughout my day, here’s how:
This is one of my all-time favorite dishes. There is so much flavor and it’s pretty simple to make. I’ve made this for my family quite a few times and they go crazy over it every single time.
